The chess picnic took place in Howarth Park in Everett on July 7th, 2018 from 10AM to 6PM. It was a beautiful warm day with a great view of Possession Sound and Whidbey Island to the west. The group enjoyed sharing food and socializing before engaging in casual chess games.  The group also enjoyed playing frisbee and throwing football. Later in the day, the group broke into two groups and engaged in a fun team chess match. One team was led by Joey and the other by FM David Bragg.  Thanks to all who came out and made this a fun day!
