The first chess picnic in 2019 was held in Kayak Point Regional County Park on Memorial Day (May 27, 2019). It was a gorgeous sunny day and the beach provided an ideal setting for relaxing and taking in breathtaking views of Camano island.   Our group enjoyed preparing food on the grill and socializing. Other activities included kayaking and of course playing lots of chess. Thanks to all who came out and made this a memorable day!
